Understanding PhilGEPS Opportunities

PhilGEPS is the Philippine Government Electronic Procurement System. Its public opportunities interface allows suppliers and the public to find procurement notices and review details before deciding whether to pursue an opportunity.

What you can search

The official PhilGEPS interface supports viewing open opportunities and searching by terms, category and agency. Its detailed search also provides filters such as area of delivery and publish range. Opportunity lists show information such as publication date, closing date, title and the posting agency.

What not to do

Do not decide to bid from the title alone. Open the notice, read the associated documents, check the deadline and confirm the requirements. A listing can change through clarifications or supplemental bid bulletins.

Supplier registration

PhilGEPS provides online supplier registration. The official help materials request organizational and contact information and may require business registration details depending on the supplier type. Requirements can change, so use the current PhilGEPS registration interface and official help pages rather than a copied checklist.

BantayBid and PhilGEPS

BantayBid is independent. It does not replace PhilGEPS, the procuring entity or the official bidding documents. BantayBid’s public resources help suppliers organize information; the private Procurement Intelligence application remains closed during this launch phase.
